Rocking Horse Rocker by Doshi Levien

The Rocking horse Rocker, designed by Nipa Doshi from India et Jonathan Levien from England will be a fantastic addition to the new collection of children's furniture from Richrad Lampert (Egon Eiermann table, Turtle chair, Pit Stop BeanBag...). First presented at Cologne Furniture Fair 2011. Rocker's plastic, hourglass-shaped body rests simply on two wooden runners, guaranteeing hours of rocking fun, and, at the same time, producing a piece that is as much a design object as it is a plaything.

The Rocking Horse Rocker is beautiful in form, finishing and detail. Because of this, 'Rocker' is more than just a rocking horse: it's also a beautiful piece of furniture. The combination of natural, unfinished wood and white plastic is timeless and manages to be simultaneously both elegant and playful.
